Washing Clothes Off Grid Is Easier Than You Think!
In today's video, I'm diving into a frequently asked question: how do I keep my laundry clean while living off-grid in rural Bulgaria? I’ll walk you through my current method using just a bucket, a plunger, and some good old-fashioned hand-scrubbing — no electricity or washing machine needed!
Although my water still comes from the tap, I’m working toward a 100% off-grid setup, including a rainwater catchment system in the near future. I also discuss the challenges of finding eco-friendly laundry detergents, my attempts with baking soda and vinegar, and future plans to make my own soap.
